Hi, I'm Mary Taylor-Whyte, aka The Mojo Queen. I'm a 60+-year-old kid who still loves jumping in puddles! I'm a Growth Catalyst and Mojo Master who gets to live my passion every day.

With Mojo Mastery, your entire energy changes and people will literally look over as soon as you enter a room. They feel your energy and confidence, and they are drawn to discover how you do it.

I didn't always own my Mojo!
I was a curious kid with a big imagination; however, fearful, rule-toting adults kept telling me to stop daydreaming, and I fell for it. I withdrew into adventure books, doodling and keeping my dreams to myself.

School was a damp squib for me, so missed the mark for inspiring me to reach high in life. With my eyes closed, I chose my career path from a long, tall A-Z filing cabinet. By the way, I'd only reached the B drawer. The card I drew was for a Beauty Therapist, and my mojo-less thinking was, "I wear makeup, paint my nails, and do my hair - this will do." OMG, was I wrong. The training was OKish, but once I entered the job market, I realised it was long hours, crap promotion prospects, minimum pennies and worse. I hated waiting to see what came out of the clothes for a massage - Yikes. What do you do with that?

I decided to explore the glamorous world of selling cosmetics. I applied to all the famous cosmetic houses (circa 1979/1980). I got accepted by Revlon even though I was too young (1st breakthrough). Revlon was big into training, and I benefited from all they offered. Still, my biggest inspiration back then was my first boss - Mrs Black. Mrs Black sensed there was more in me, took me under her wing and taught me invaluable business and life skills. The biggest gift was teaching me to ask what I needed to be doing to be ready for the next level. This meant I was always primed for promotion when it came.

I jumped in and out of the cosmetic world throughout my working years, and much as I didn't recognise it then, I was an adventurer who jumped feet first and learned on the job. These adventures took me into the Party Plan, Vending, Marketing and Training industries, each adding to my skills but not my confidence. Even though I succeeded in these arenas, I never felt good enough. I learned one sector in 3 months and ended up dealing with some of the biggest companies in the UK, yet I still doubted myself!!

1996 brought a life-changing event and a pivot point for me.
I was a leading UK executive for a French cosmetic company when I discovered I was pregnant. I'd been told in my 20s I'd probably never be a Mum! But I was at 36 years old, getting my head around it. I planned to take maternity leave and return to work with a travelling nanny, but the universe had other ideas. We discovered our baby was very sick in the womb, so instead of enjoying the baby preparations, we spent our time with scans, tests and dire predictions of his future if he made it to being born. An emergency cesarean saved us both and dumped us into a whirlpool of operations, cardiac arrests, strokes and brain damage for my son, all before he was 1 year old. My corporate dreams, travelling nanny, and even my relationship became casualties, too.

1996 could have been my journey into stress, overwhelm, anxiety or worse, BUT it was my Miracle.

My adventurous nature came back big time, and I dedicated myself to making all the pessimistic predictions and expected reactions untrue. I learned about the brain and discovered neuroplasticity, which helped my son walk and talk. I researched help for me and found life coaching. The day I stepped into my first class to become a coach, I knew it was exactly where I was meant to be.

Neither my son nor I have looked back since.
James is currently 27 (2023), a Dad to a 4-year-old, and awaiting the birth of their next child in March 2024. He is still on a challenging journey health-wise, but Mojo runs through his blood and beats the odds every time.

Me - I am The Mojo Queen - a beacon of positivity, radiating passion and enthusiasm in everything I do. I'm a growth catalyst for others with an unwavering ability to find the Golden Nuggets in any challenge.
